Itinerary
Day 01: Arrived Jakarta - Hotel - Relax.
Upon arrival in Jakarta airport, you will be picked up and directly transfer to fm7 hotel, 10 minutes from airport.

Day 02: Jakarta airport to Pangkalan bun - Rimba Lodge
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Jakarta airport terminal 1 C building by car with air con to fly to Pangkalan bun. Upon arrival in Pangkalan bun airport, direct transfer to Rimba lodge for overnight stay. Afternoon river cruise the river to eyewitness proboscis monkey. Back to lodge, dinner and free time at your own leisure.

Day 03: Rimba Lodge – Crocodile Lake – Overnight on boat
Breakfast at lodge, we begin for the excursion by visiting the firs morning feeding at pondok Tangguy. after enjoy the feeding time that rangers give additional foods, we will proceed to camp Leakey. arrived campy Leakey by mid day, Lunch, rest and explore the surrounding camp Leakey. after attending the feeding at camp Leakey. back to the boat afternoon, and cruise down the river to croc lake. stay overnight on the Klotoks as your floating lodge.

Day 04: Croc Lake – Camp Leakey
wake with nature of sound of the rainforest of borneo..gibbon singing in the morning while our experience cook making for your breakfast. after breakfast on the boat, we cruise back to camp Leakey for another exploration surrounding the camp Leakey. perhaps we will meet the remarkable person of borneo. full day at camp Leakey, full day with great apes, full day in the forest, afternoon back to the kelotok/Boat and stay overnight at croc lake.

Day 05: Camp Leakey – Fire Flies Mangrove
Breakfast well for better day during the day...cruise down to Pondok tangguy, walk around the camp, lunch time cruise down to pesalat reforestation camp. we will head back up stream to the forest rehabilitation centre set up by the Friends of the National Park. After a long walk on the board walk, we will arrive at their head quarters where you will see dozens of juvenile plants ready to be planted. The area being reforested was cleared many years ago when locals actually inhabited the Park. The Friends of the National Park are now reforesting this area of the Park. after visiting Pesalat camp, we cruise down the river to the village as well as the tanjung harapan for last day visiting orangutan on feeding platform. before dark, we will arrive at Fire Flies Mangrove. stay overnight on the Klotoks.

Day 06: Fire Flies Mangrove – Kumai - Pangkalan Bun - Palangkaraya
wake morning with jungle pancake...then ready to transfer to Kumai jetty for overland drive 8 hours to rungan sari resort by private car. on the way stop for simple lunch. arrived at rungan sari afternoon, check in and resting. Dinner personal account

Arrived Palangka Raya - Resort Overview:
The Rungan Sari Resort and Meeting Center is a sanctuary of style and tranquility. It offers a relaxing natural environment that appeals to all the senses. Rivers, forests and tropical countryside await your exploration, while a swimming pool, tennis court and other facilities invite you to relax or break a sweat. The restaurant indulges your taste buds with scrumptious local and international cuisine in a menu exuding spice and flair. The Rungan Sari Resort and Meeting Center has all the comforts of a three-star hotel. It offers 24 bedrooms and a capacity to accommodate 48 guests comfortably. King-size and twin beds are available. There are many river cruises and other tourist activities around Rungan Sari.

Day 7: Hotel Palangka Raya - Start Cruise
After breakfast, pick up from hotel and transfer to the Rahai’i Pangun in Palangkaraya harbor to start your journey. Cruise past the stilted and floating houses of the provincial capital and continue upriver along the jungle lined river, passing villages and to your first sighting of the magnificent orangutan. In the late afternoon as the heat of the day starts to cool, take a canoe to get a closer look of the orangutans and on through the shimmering black water lakes. Keep an eye out for proboscis monkeys, hornbills and Brahmini kites. Return to the Rahai’i Pangun for dinner and a quiet dinner in the midst of the jungle.

Day 8: Marang - Kanarakan
The Rahai’i Pangun moves up the Rungan River to the village of Tangkiling, where we transfer you by charter car to the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation Education Centre. Board again and cruise past the orangutan release island of Pulau Kaja, to Kanarakan village. Walk through the village with a local host to see how people live and work in these isolated communities. Enjoy a traditional village entertainment. The boat cruises down river for a quiet mooring.

Day 9: Kanarakan – Tangkiling
The boat makes its way down stream, to Tangkiling, transfer to hotel. Free leisure at your own. Lunch & Dinner personal account

After breakfast, Enjoy your time until we escort you to Palangka raya airport.
